You wake up, even though it’s 2 hours before light up.
Put on that shot of coffee. You know it will get things moving.
Thinking of what you need to execute this morning before your work life begins again.
Play that track, play that album, play it until it consumes your workout and flows through your soul.
No-one, nobody can touch you here and now. While they’re sleeping and losing time.
You’re working on your craft. They cannot stand that.
Now that that is out of the way, you’ve got your clarity for the morning.
With everything clear you can now see to your job.
A job among others that all adhere to the way of life. To work.
But there is work and then there is work. Isn’t there.
You’ve finished up your work that pays, that makes ends meet, that gets you by.
Now it is time to work. To work on your craft, again.
Each and every day before this one you have chipped away at your new found path.
It is a path that has taught you many lessons so far. It is a path that will teach you many more I’m certain.
As you toe the line and devour knowledge of all humans before you on this planet, you also have to toe the line of the tyrant.
The tyrant comes in the form of many people. Many for which, you cannot see.
They do not want to be seen.
For these tyrants know that of what you are doing. In your authentic thirst for growth, expansion of self mastery.
But they do not like seeing a man that knows he cannot stay idle anymore. A man who cannot accept the mundane motions of a life that has been unfulfilling previous.
You have learned many lessons along this journey, yes.
To trust only the few and give yourself to even fewer.
For the tyrants are often among you. And they seek to displace the limbs that help you climb out from their world.
They fear you for the way you go about your business and seek out no stories untrue.
They will however, speak stories of you from afar all in the vice of envy.
But this day, today. You have your work. You have your work that will or will not bring fortunes to the you of tomorrow.
No matter the fate of your fortunes. Your happiness through discipline and struggle defines your character.
Your character, is not to be defined by others of envy. Your character is what you repeatedly do.
Now recover from your day. Eat, read, write, meditate and then sleep.
For tomorrow needs your undivided dedication, yet again.
At dawn, when you have trouble getting out of bed, tell yourself: “I have to go to work as a human being. What do I have to complain of, if I’m going to do what I was born for-the things I was brought into the world to do?”Marcus Aurelius
